Luleå has a campus area that gathers most municipal upper secondary education programs with nearly 2300 students and is located in the city center.

The students at Luleå Gymnasieskola shall be given the conditions for lifelong learning by focusing on knowledge, participation, responsibility, and leadership so that they are prepared for working life and as citizens in general. The contacts with the business community are many, and in the local steering groups, the business community collaborates with the upper secondary school to create good conditions for students to be well prepared for the time after their upper secondary education.

The Electrical and Energy Program is growing, and we now need to strengthen our team with teachers in electrical and energy subjects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of vocational teacher in the Electrical and Energy Program at Luleå Gymnasieskola, you will have the chance to inspire and educate the next generation in electrical and energy fields. Together with engaged colleagues in the work team, you will plan and conduct teaching in the program's vocational subjects, and you will also serve as a mentor for students in a class. You will actively work with APL (workplace-based learning), where you collaborate with the industry to provide students with valuable practical experiences and strengthen their path to working life. Your efforts contribute to creating a learning environment where both knowledge and personal development are in focus.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Work experience in the electrical and energy industry.
• Interest in educating and guiding young people as well as developing the program in the areas of automation and/or electrical engineering.
• Broad and good professional knowledge as well as strong contacts within the industry.
• Structured and skilled in planning, adapting, and evaluating.
• Good collaboration skills and the ability to create and maintain good relationships.
• You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• Meritorious: Qualification as a vocational teacher in electrical and energy.
